Location

It provides a multi-purpose hall with a capacity for 730 persons and 7 translator booths. It can be divided into 3 independent rooms (2x250 and 1x70 persons). In addition, the Academy has 7 meeting rooms (1x120, 1x60, 2x30, 1x20 and 2x10 seats), offices for consultations, secretariats, areas for displays, posters, exhibits, and areas for outdoor events. Most facilities are air-conditioned.  

The OAC is fully equipped with modern technology tools to cover all conference needs. Among these are: three independent systems for simultaneous translation, video projector/ beamers, slides and overhead projectors, audio and visual recording of conferences, mobile loudspeaker systems, satellite TVs and VCRs.  

The OAC provides 130 beds in double rooms.  When necessary, hotels in the nearby village of Kolympari are also used.

  The Cretan cuisine and the dining rooms continue the hospitable tradition of the Greek symposium and facilitate interpersonal communication.  

Libraries The OAC has  three libraries. The main one  is "THE LIGHT"; another is a library with the patrology of  Migne and newer patrological editions, and  the third is the library of Gerasimos Konidaris.

Location

Thessaly Conference Center is an autonomous meeting and exhibition complex, covering 6000 sqm. It lies 6 km from the center of the port of Volos, Central Greece. Ideal starting point for excursions to Mount Pelion, to the beaches of Pagasitikos Bay and the Aegean Sea, the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisos, and the famous landmark of Meteora.

The Centre offers:

•  A fully functional library with a reading room.

• A Conference Hall for 150 people with a system of simultaneous interpretation in 4 different languages.

• A restaurant for 150 people

40 fully furnished and equipped single rooms, only for men, because the Centre is sited on the premises of a traditional Orthodox Monastery where women are not allowed to stay for the night.

Females can be settled at nearby hotels, and participate in all activities of the centre.
