The
Norwegian Church Academy Movement is a voluntary, ecumenical and
independent association of local organisations which are to be
found at the crossroads where church/culture and society meet.
Today there are 53 such local organisations in Norway. All in
all some 200 gatherings are held each year. They cover a wide
spectrum of activities: lectures, concerts, performances,
exhibitions, film shows, philosophical discussions, seminaries,
conferences and festivals. Themes are related to culture and
art, the church and Christian faith, society and various
philosophies of life.
